a light smack is not child abuse
Can you tell us the last child that died of a smack on the bottom.
None. But plenty of children have been physically and emotionally injured by hitting - some scarred for life.
Hi - many more children have been emotionally injured - psychologically scarred from harsh unkind words from their parents - hatred and anger being commonplace in the home. And remember Anon, hitting does not equal smacking.
Surely anonymous a light spank or smack on the bottom of a young child - by caring parents trying to help them live within loving and correct boundries of responsible reason is more important for the development of principles, rules and values of society within a child ?
